"We enjoyed our one night stay with a friendly welcome, a comfortable, clean and quiet room (with covered car parking) plus a wonderful meal at Cascades Restaurant. The meal was excellent as was the service from two helpful ladies. Goondiwindi looks great after some rain. Ascot and Cascades both recommended. Like most western country accommodation (in any part of Australia), not the cheapest but very friendly, restful and enjoyable."

"Had a stopover In Goondiwindi so booked the room over the phone, last minute. The gentleman was so accommodating and pleasant. Then this morning the receptionist, the chef and the waitress were all so lovely. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms very clean and tidy and spacious . The beds were so comfy. The food and the service were exemplary. Couldn’t fault any part of our experience."

"On entry the rooms looked really nice. The size of the room was really large. Very clean. Had everything you could want. Need to book the restaurant well in advance. We were hoping to dine there but unfortunately it was fully booked. The menu does look delicious. Couple of things that I would note - the mattress was awful. Needed to be replaced long ago. The bar fridge is really loud while trying to sleep. The bottom of the TV..."
